Uncapped paceman Umesh Yadav has been added to India's squad for the remainder of the ICC World Twenty20 after Praveen Kumar was ruled out.
Kumar suffered an abdominal injury during training in Barbados, leading to a surprise call-up for Yadav.
The 22-year-old was originally omitted from India's provisional 30-man tournament squad, however he caught the eye with his form in the IPL with Delhi Daredevils.
Board of Control for Cricket in India secretary N Srinivasan confirmed: "Praveen Kumar has sustained a side strain and has been ruled out of the ICC World T20 2010 as a result.
"The All-India Senior Selection Committee has picked Umesh Yadav as his replacement."
