Worcestershire batsman could leave at end of season
Worcestershire stalwart Vikram Solanki has been given permission to speak to other counties.
Solanki has spent his entire 17-year first-class career at New Road but has yet to be offered a contract for next season.
"I'd like to play at Worcester ideally, but if it's a case that I need to consider other options, I owe it to myself and my family to explore those options," said middle-order batsman Solanki.
The 36-year-old captained Worcestershire between 2005 and 2010 and has played 51 ODIs and three Twenty20s for England.
