The T20 international series decider between India and Australia was rained off without a ball being bowled in Hyderabad.

Around 30,000 fans were in attendance to see the sides battle for supremacy after Australia levelled the scores at 1-1 in Guwahati.

The downpour prevented the tourists taking a measure of revenge for their 4-1 defeat in the 50-over series.

Australia now turn their attention to next month's Ashes series.
