Saqlain departs county champions for personal reasons
Sussex have released off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq at the player's request.
The LV County Championship winners, who successfully defended their title at the weekend, revealed the former Pakistan Test player has been allowed to leave.
"Sussex County Cricket Club regrets that, owing to personal reasons, Saqlain Mushtaq will be unable to fulfil his contract next season and has, therefore, been released from the club," the club said in a statement.
The 30-year-old bowler said: "I would like to thank the whole team at Sussex for all the opportunities they have given me this season.
"The club has been wonderful and it is with a heavy heart that I am having to say goodbye for my own personal reasons."
