Yuvraj Singh has been cleared of dissent following his dismissal for India in the first innings of the first Test against Australia in Melbourne.
The left-hander was charged with breaching level 1.3 of the International Cricket Council's code of conduct after remaining at the crease for several seconds after being given out by umpire Billy Bowden just before tea on the second day.
But, after a hearing with match referee Mike Procter on Friday evening, Yuvraj was cleared of the charge.
"It was evident that Yuvraj took more time than normal to leave the crease but it was due to the fact that he was shocked at the decision," explained Proctor.
"At no stage did he show displeasure or dissent at the umpire's decision."
