James Anderson talks to us after day one of third Ashes Test

James Anderson took six wickets on day one of the third Investec Ashes Test and Ian Bell ended a lean period with the blade by scoring an elegant half-century.
But Steve Finn also enjoyed the opening stages at Edgbaston, snaring the prized wickets of Steve Smith and Michael Clarke on his first Test appearance in two years.
On the latest Sky Cricket Podcast, David Currie was joined by Mikey Holding and Michael Atherton to reflect on Finn’s figures which helped England bowl Australia out for 136.
Holding, who says Finn’s recall should have come a lot sooner, also analysed how Anderson used seam rather than his usual swing to tear through the Baggy Greens’ batting line-up.
Plus, Atherton insisted that England, who closed on 133-3 to trail by just three runs, need someone to post a big score on Friday to fully take control of the game.
