Gloucestershire snatched a dramatic one run win over Leicestershire off the last ball of the game in the Royal London One-Day Cup.

The home side were dismissed for 314 after Clint McKay was run out trying to scramble for a second run.

Gloucestershire racked up 315 thanks to 104 from Gareth Roderick while former England wicket-keeper Geraint Jones hit 87 off 61 deliveries.

In reply, the Foxes fell agonisingly short of their target after Aadil Ali made 84 and Michael Burgess reached 49.

Elsewhere in Group A, Steven Davies hit 98 as Surrey beat Durham by 49 runs at Chester-le-Street.

The English batsman narrowly missed out on a ton after hitting eight boundaries while Zafar Ansari made 41.

They were supported by Jason Roy who made 34, before being dismissed by Paul Collingwood, to help the visitors to 271.

In reply, the hosts were skittled out for 222 with Ryan Pringle top-scoring with 35 while Mark Stoneman made 31.

James Burke was the pick of the Surrey bowlers with 3-34.

In Group B, New Zealand all-rounder James Franklin hit a 50 to guide Middlesex to an 87-run victory over Kent at the Brunton Memorial Ground.

Franklin and Nick Gubbins (56) helped the visitors to 260-9 from their 50 overs.

And the home side never got close to their target and were all out for 173 inside 42 overs with Ollie Raynor doing the most damage with 4-45.

Elsewhere, Billy Godleman struck an unbeaten 109 to give Derbyshire a seven-wicket win over Northamptonshire at the County Ground.

The opener was supported by 52 from Wayne Madsen as the hosts set a total of 232-3.

And the visitors fell one run short of their target after Josh Cobb made 104.

Azharullah was bowled by Ben Cotton with ten balls to spare to clinch victory for Derbyshire.

Somerset defeated Worcestershire by 56 runs at Taunton after an unbeaten 93 from Tom Cooper.

The Australian was supported by a quick-fire 46 off 39 balls from Adam Hose and 45 from Jim Allenby to reach 305-7 from their 50 overs.

And the home side bowled out Worcestershire for 249 with three wickets apiece from Craig Overton and Peter Trego.

Ed Barnard hit 51 in vain for the visitors but they were all out with 28 balls remaining.

Colin Ingram smashed 130 to give Glamorgan a 146-run win over Essex at Sophia Gardens.

Ingram hit 12 boundaries while Graham Wagg chipped in with an unbeaten 62 as the Welsh side made 288-6.

In reply, the visitors were bowled out for 142 within 38 overs despite the efforts of Ryan ten Doeschate (47) and Ravi Bopara (22).
