Surrey have signed all-rounder James Burke from Somerset on a two-year deal.
Burke, 23, has struggled to break into the first-team at Taunton but did play in three of their NatWest T20 Blast fixtures this season, scoring four runs in his only innings and not getting a bowl.
He has been playing regularly for Somerset's Second XI as well as turning out for Devon and represented England at Under-17, Under-18 and Under-19 levels.
Director of Cricket Alec Stewart said: "James is a genuine all-rounder of great potential. We look forward to welcoming to him to the club."
Burke will link up with his new county at the end of the current season.
