Colin Ingram struck his second century in eight days as Glamorgan secured a five-wicket NatWest T20 Blast victory over Essex, at Chelmsford.
Ingram, dropped on 13, rattled to a career-best 114 off 55 balls - smashing nine sixes along the way - just over a week after pillaging 101 off Sussex.
His knock all but ensured Glamorgan surpassed Essex's 219-4, in which Varun Chopra muscled his maiden T20 century with 103 not out from 59 balls, with six fours and eight maximums.
But the Essex opener ended up on the losing side as, with two runs required off the last ball, Craig Meschede cleared the ropes for the 29th six of the day to end a thrilling match in which 443 runs were scored.
Somerset picked up their first win of the campaign, beating Middlesex by 21 runs at Uxbridge, after biffing Brendon McCullum's men for 207-9, Adam Hose the pick of the batsmen with a 28-ball 59.
McCullum made just 10 in reply as Craig Overton returned impressive figures of 3-24 from his four overs to restrict the hosts to 186-7, despite 39 from off 28 balls by Paul Stirling, Eoin Morgan's brisk 33 and a belated 35 not out off 16 balls by Ryan Higgins.
Gloucestershire and Sussex were foiled by rain, however, with the wet weather at Cheltenham preventing the hosts from replying to Sussex's 156-8.
David Payne (3-13) dismissed Luke Wright (2) early on before ending an enterprising innings from Jofra Archer (22 off 12) and dismissing Will Beer first ball in the final over.
David Wiese also suffered a golden duck during a manic three-ball period in the 17th over, his departure, nicking off to Chris Liddle (2-39), sandwiched by Laurie Evans being pinned lbw and Chris Jordan being run out by Sri Lanka international Thisara Perera.
In the North Group, Jos Buttler guided Lancashire to a five-wicket win over Derbyshire, the England one-day star hitting an unbeaten 42 as his side reached their target of 153 with nine balls to spare.
Lancashire limited Derbyshire to 152-8, with leg-spinner Matthew Parkinson taking 3-17 on his T20 debut and Pakistan quick Junaid Khan claiming 3-28, including top scorer Wayne Madsen (52).
Matt Critchley (40) and former Lancashire player Luis Reece (37) also made scores of note but the Falcons only managed 41 runs from the final six overs, losing six wickets in that time.
Leicestershire Foxes made it three wins from three by recording a nine-run triumph over Birmingham Bears, despite faltering in the back-end of their innings at Edgbaston.
Luke Ronchi (46) and Cameron Delport (37) pummelled 58 runs from the first five overs but that start was rather wasted as the Foxes cobbled together just 62 from the final 10 to card 147-9, Boyd Rankin (3-26) and Grant Elliott (2-10) pegged back Leicestershire.
However, the hosts could only muster 138-8 from their 20 overs - Ian Bell top scoring with 30 - as Colin Ackermann (3-21) and Delport (1-14) contained Birmingham's batting line-up.
