Pakistan sweep past world champions West Indies in final T20

Pakistan swept past world champions West Indies in the third and final Twenty20 international, securing an eight wicket win in Abu Dhabi to achieve their first-ever clean sweep in the shortest format.

Left-arm spinner Imad Wasim chipped in with 3-21 - taking his haul in the series to nine wickets - as West Indies laboured to 103-5 in their 20 overs after Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Marlon Samuels scored an unbeaten 42 while Kieron Pollard was 16 not out.

Pakistan wiped off the target in 15.1 overs, with Shoaib Malik (43 not out) and Babar Azam scoring an unbeaten 27.
 
Pakistan won the first two matches by nine wickets and 16 runs respectively and the two teams will now play a three-match one-day series starting in Sharjah on Friday.
