British GP extended to a fourth day, with track action on Thursday

F2 and GP3 will both be on track at Silverstone one day earlier than normal

The British Grand Prix will be extended to a fourth day this year, with track action on Thursday as well as the usual Friday to Sunday.

Gates will open to fans at 2pm on the Thursday, with Formula 2 the first cars onto the track for their practice session at 3:30pm.

The GP3 cars will then take to the track at 4:45pm for their practice session, followed by Sky Sports F1's F1 Show live from the pit straight at 6pm.

Thursday will be rounded off by a Travis concert for fans with the correct ticket.
