Tiger Woods had already produced a number of high-quality shots over the first two rounds of his comeback, but his birdie from the sand at the fifth on day three takes some beating.
Looking to carry over the momentum from Friday's flawless 65 which propelled him up the leaderboard, Woods got off to the perfect start as he birdied the opening three holes of his third round at Albany.
He did well to save par at the fourth, and he then faced a tricky up and down to avoid dropping a shot at the par-three fifth after a rare, wayward iron off the tee landed in a greenside bunker.
With a flat lie and not much green to work with, Woods took a bold swing and his ball came out of the trap on a perfect line, pitching on the green and taking the right-to-left break before rolling into the middle of the cup.
The amazing birdie lifted the tournament host to within two shots of the lead, and it was another reminder that the career of the 14-time major champion is far from over.
