Padraig Harrington and Jon Rahm were among the players to visit the Open Zone during a busy opening practice day on Monday at Royal Birkdale.
The innovation was introduced last year as part of Sky Sports' round-the-clock coverage of The Open, with the special studio returning for this year's event in Southport.
Based next to the practice range, large crowds congregated throughout the day to witness a number of the world's top players come over to spend time with the Sky Sports team.
2016 Masters champion Danny Willett joined Claude Harmon on the range to explain how he gets the best out of his mid-irons, while Adam Hadwin stopped by to tell Andrew Coltart the routine he goes through to improve his game.
Rahm was the first player to visit the Zone's new bunker, where he showcased the different ways of getting the ball back in to play if you end up in a sandpit.
There was also time for Harrington to stop by, the winner of the last Open at Royal Birkdale in 2008, where the Irishman explained the swing process he goes through to avoid injury.
