The nine-year-old gelding gave connections a great thrill in the Ryanair Chase on Thursday when he finished second to Dynaste, beaten two and a quarter lengths.
Although Hanlon had initially felt Hidden Cyclone would be finished for the season, plans are now fluid.
The County Carlow handler said: "It was disappointing to get beat, but it was still a great run.
"He's supposed to go out in the field now as he's been very good this season, but we've not decided what we'll do just yet."
