The six-year-old has yet to win since moving to Australia from Sir Michael Stoute's yard in Newmarket but Waterhouse believes that the step up in trip for the Ranvet Stakes should suit the son of Street Cry.
"I'll have Carlton House in the Ranvet, which is very exciting because it is the first time he has got to 2000 metres for me," she told www.theage.com.au. "That is where these English horses excel and I expect him to be no different."
Carlton House is due to be ridden by Tommy Berry, who won the Hong Kong Derby on Sunday, and will be having his third start back from a break having chased home Opinion in the Parramatta Cup last time.
Waterhouse had the option of running Fiorente on Saturday but is set to wait for a crack the BMW Stakes with her Melbourne Cup winner adding: "He worked on the Kensington track on Saturday morning and is a happy chappy but I think the BMW is his race.
"I will nominate him for the Ranvet but I think we might wait with him.
It will be a strong renewal of the Ranvet Stakes, however, with the field led by five-time Group One winner It's A Dundeel.
Chris Waller has confirmed that Moriarty, Hawkspur and Foreteller will run while Nash Rawiller has been booked to classy New Zealand mare Silent Achiever on her first Australian start for the autumn.
