Sir Michael Stoute took a posse of workers to the Al Bahathri Polytrack on what was a quiet Thursday morning for the trainer.
It was encouraging to see Provenance score so authoritatively on her debut at Kempton and that victory should pave the way for more successes from Stoute's three-year-old fillies.
SHAMA'S SONG had a largely educational run back at Newcastle and acquitted herself well on that occasion.
She looked in good heart coming up the strip with EXECUTRIX and the beautifully-bred RUSSIAN HEROINE.
Ryan Moore did the steering on the last-named filly, who is out of the 1,000 Guineas winner Russian Rhythm.
Another offspring of that filly then came up solo as RUSSIAN REALM went through the gears.
He looked a shade unlucky not to score on his Ascot reappearance when the winner stole a March on the field.
HILLSTAR heads to Chester for the Ormonde Stakes and he seems to have thrived since a trip to Dubai.
The four-year-old made no show on the Tapeta track at Meydan but looks more the finished article as he's done very well physically through the winter.
He looked exciting when scoring at Royal Ascot last year, with another good effort coming in the King George. Stoute has excelled with this type of horse over the years.
Jockeys were down in the drive position as SAHARA DESERT went by half a length down on PASS THE SHOVEL.
ROCKET SHIP looked in good order as he worked in unison with SIR ROSCO.
MUKHAAYAM is an interesting prospect that was also amongst the working party.
