Miami Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi made history by becoming just the fourth player ever to rush for more than 200 yards in back-to-back games, but who is he?

The 23-year-old was born in London to Nigerian parents. He moved with his family to the United States in 2000 and soon began playing American football - a decision that has led him into the NFL record books.

He penned an incredible chapter Sunday, becoming just the fourth player to rush for more than 200 yards in consecutive games.

Ajayi, a second-year running back from Boise State, ran 29 times for 214 yards - a 7.4 yards per carry average - and one touchdown as the Dolphins ended Buffalo's four-game win streak with a 28-25 victory at Hard Rock Stadium.

Until his 204-yard, two-touchdown game against Pittsburgh last week, Ajayi, who started the season as a backup to Arian Foster, had never rushed for 100 yards in an NFL game. His previous high was 48 yards as a rookie.

Ajayi was left off the active roster for the season opener for behavioral reasons after Miami signed Foster to be the starting running back.
