It was only a week ago that McCoy broke his thumb, but the team's leading rusher showed no signs of ill-effects as he scored two touchdowns in 33 seconds.
Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons scored 38 points against the NFL's number one ranked defence, beating the Arizona Cardinals 38-31. Devonta Freeman and Taylor Gabriel scored two touchdowns each as the Falcons moved to 7-4 and maintained top spot in the NFC South.
