One player that had an incredible season this year is Miami Dolphins running back, Jay Ajayi.
The British-born, second-year player rushed for 200 yards on three separate occasions, adding eight touchdowns to over 1,200 yards for the year, and helping the Dolphins to their first post-season since 2008.
Though it didn't end in Super Bowl glory for Ajayi - Miami were knocked out at Wildcard Weekend - he was selected for his first Pro Bowl, which the AFC won 20-13.
Speaking before NFL UK's live tour, Ajayi said that his favourite moment this season didn't actually come on the field.
"My favourite moment was on the plane after Buffalo, knowing that we made the play-offs. That was the best feeling, knowing that we accomplished part of the goal that we wanted to do.
"The happiness of everyone on that plane ride - it was a good feeling."
Miami overcame their AFC East rival Buffalo Bills in week 16. Despite an opening touchdown from Ajayi, the team found themselves down by three with a minute to play.
However, kicker Andrew Franks converted a last-second field goal, and then another in overtime, to punch the Dolphins' ticket to January NFL.
"That was a big game for us because our destiny was in our hands. If we won the game we would be going to the play-offs which was always the goal.
"We put ourselves in a little bit of a bind, having to go into overtime to finish the game. I was just running hard, and on offence we had a really good day.
"Now it's remembering the feeling of getting knocked out of the play-offs, using that as motivation for next season."
Ajayi also spoke of his journey to the NFL, and said that his first love was always British football, and particularly Arsenal.
"Playing football was always my dream, but then the NFL started to become a reality when I got colleges telling me that I could get my school paid for.
"At the time, for my family that was a big deal. As I went on playing, I learned more about getting from college to the NFL and I was like, 'OK maybe this could happen'. From then on it was all about keeping going, persevering, and here I am.
"I believe I was a decent soccer player, not quite as good as Thierry Henry, but I was pretty good!"
