The Seattle Seahawks have fired their offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell and offensive line coach Tom Cable.
Bevell was in charge of calling plays, while Cable was responsible for a run game and offensive line that failed to meet expectations in 2017.
The pair had been with the Seahawks for seven seasons but head coach Pete Carroll felt the time was right for a change after Seattle missed the playoffs for the first time since 2011.
"We are challenged by change, but excited to attack the future with great purpose," Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said in a statement.
"I want to thank both Tom and Darrell for their role in helping take this program to a championship level. I will always be grateful for the opportunity to coach and compete alongside these great men."
Bevell and Cable played a key role in helping Seattle win the Super Bowl in 2013 and they also reached it in 2014.
The Seahawks had a top five rushing offense every year from 2012 to 2015, including a league-best 172.6 yards per game in 2014.
However, that number dropped to 101.8 yards per game in 2017 - which ranked 23rd in the NFL - as the offensive line struggled to open up holes in the running game and protect quarterback Russell Wilson.
