Pittsburgh Steelers have decided to part ways with offensive coordinator Todd Haley.

Haley's contract expired after the season - which ended on Sunday when the Steelers were defeated 45-42 by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the play-offs - and Pittsburgh have decided not to renew it.

Head coach Mike Tomlin said in a statement: "I have made the decision to not renew the contract for offensive coordinator Todd Haley.

"I would like to thank Todd for his contributions to our offense the past six years, and we wish him the best in his coaching future."

Quarterbacks coach Randy Fichtner and offensive line coach Mike Munchak, who declined a second interview for the head-coaching vacancy in Arizona, are among the favourites to succeed Haley.
