Jer's Girl looks set to miss the Hatton's Grace at Fairyhouse on December 4 following her return at Punchestown on Sunday.

The dual Grade One-winning four-year-old chased home Nichols Canyon in the Morgiana Hurdle and trainer Gavin Cromwell felt she had a hard enough race on her comeback.

Targets at Christmas will now be considered for Jer's Girl.

"She's good and came out of the race 100 per cent," said Cromwell.

"It's probably unlikely that she'll go to the Hatton's Grace as it's only two weeks away.

"She ran very well (at Punchestown) but they went a very good gallop and she would have had a hard enough race.

"She's only a four-year-old filly so it was a fair ask for her first run. The winner is a seven-time Grade One winner so he's a right one.

"We'll probably look for something for her around Christmas.

"There are a couple of mares' races in England in early January, also."
