Wildcats coach Richard Agar is still without full-back Richard Mathers who is expected to make a return against Hull FC next week.
In Mathers' absence Justin Poore could start this weekend having missed out on the 28-26 victory against Widnes last Friday.
Agar's side seek back-to-back victories for the first time this season as they look to keep their play-off hopes alive.
Meanwhile Laurent Frayssinous has made only one change to his 19-man squad ahead of the trip to Wakefield.
Loose forward Jason Baitieri sustained a serious ligament injury which has ruled him out for the rest of the season which paves the way for Vincent Duport to join the squad.
Catalans coach Frayssinous is still without Scott Dureau, Brent Webb, Olivier Elima, Julian Bousquet, Steve Menzies and Daryl Millard who are all recovering from injury.
After defeat at the hands of Huddersfield last weekend the Dragons will be keen to get back to winning ways and consolidate a place in the play-off positions.
The Dragons have only won on three of their nine visits to Wakefield while the hosts have won only one of their last five games at home.
Wildcats: Fox, Collis, L. Smith, Cockayne, Sykes, T. Smith, Poore, Aiton, Raleigh, Lauitiiti, Kirmond, Washbrook, Wood, Amor, Wilkes, Mellars, Lyne, Annakin, Molloy.
