Leeds could lose captain Danny McGuire and experienced back-rower Jamie Jones-Buchanan to suspension after both players were charged by the Rugby Football League's match review panel.

McGuire was sin-binned for dissent in the aftermath of Greg Eden's try in Friday's home defeat by Castleford and has now been hit with a grade C charge of foul language towards the match official.

The half-back has the option of submitting an early guilty plea, which would mean an automatic two-match ban, or could opt to fight the charge at a disciplinary hearing in Leeds on Tuesday.

Jones-Buchanan faces a one-match suspension after he was charged with grade A striking with the shoulder.

Meanwhile, St Helens centre Mark Percival could sit out three games after he was charged with grade C other contrary behaviour in his side's stunning 25-24 comeback win over Salford.

Catalans Dragons full-back Tony Gigot has the option of accepting a two-match ban after he was charged with a grade C offence of disputing a decision using aggressive body language.

Rangi Chase, whose impressive form has helped lift Widnes off the foot of the Betfred Super League table, could be banned for two games after he was charged with grade B striking with the shoulder.
