Watford are one of a number of clubs interested in Lille forward Sofiane Boufal, Sky sources understand.

The French club are believed to value the 22-year-old Morocco international at more than £15m.

Boufal joined Lille from Angers in January 2015 and he scored 12 goals in 35 appearances last season, also securing his first Morocco call for an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Cape Verde.

He is understood to be interested in a move to the Premier League club should Watford and Lille be able to agree a fee.

Two players who could be on their way out of Vicarage Road are midfielder Almen Abdi and striker Steven Berghuis.
