Tottenham's Josh Onomah joins Sheffield Wednesday on loan

Tottenham midfielder Josh Onomah has joined Sheffield Wednesday on a season-long loan.

Onomah has experience of the Sky Bet Championship, having spent the 2017-18 campaign on loan with Aston Villa.

The 21-year-old, who has played for England at all levels up to U21, scored four Championship goals in 33 appearances for the Villans.

Onomah made his Tottenham debut in 2015, in a Premier League win over Aston Villa, and has so far been involved 15 times in the Premier League among his 32 total appearances for the club.

He has been involved in tournament-winning sides for England at the 2014 European U17 Championships and more recently the 2017 U20 World Cup.

Wednesday have given Onomah the No 7 shirt and he could make his Owls debut against Reading at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
