Plymouth Argyle have signed former Southend defender Jakub Sokolik.
The 23-year-old, who came through the youth ranks at Liverpool, was released by the Shrimpers last month.
He has further experience of lower league football having also had a stint at Yeovil, where he made 45 appearances during two seasons.
Sokolik will not be eligible to play in the Pilgrims' FA Cup tie at Liverpool on Sunday, having already featured in the competition for Southend.
