Rangers have completed the signing of former Tottenham midfielder Niko Kranjcar on a two-year deal.
Kranjcar moves to Ibrox on a free transfer after leaving New York Cosmos following a short spell with the North American Soccer League side.
Sky sources reported on Monday that the Croatia international was due to undergo a medical with Rangers before penning a contract with the club.
Kranjcar will link up with former team-mates Joey Barton and Clint Hill at Rangers after becoming manager Mark Warburton's sixth signing of the summer.
"We are delighted to secure a player of Niko's undoubted qualities and very much look forward to welcoming him to the club," the Rangers boss said.
"Such a signing shows our desire to achieve a positive balance between young, hungry players and the undoubted necessity of experience and maturity.
"In addition, I would like to thank the Cosmos for the highly professional manner in which they have conducted their business throughout this process. It has been a pleasure to deal with them."
Kranjcar began his career at Dinamo Zagreb before joining domestic rivals Hadjuk Split in 2005. His first taste of English football came 18 months later when he joined Harry Redknapp's Portsmouth, before moving to Tottenham in 2009 where he was reunited with then-Spurs boss Redknapp.
The 31-year-old joined Ukrainian side Dynamo Kiev in 2012 after leaving Spurs but he returned to England on loan with Queens Park Rangers in September 2013, with Redknapp signing the player for a third time.
Kranjcar becomes the third Croatian to play for Rangers, following in the footsteps of Dado Prso and Nikica Jelavic.
