Arsene Wenger insists Arsenal are happy to pay big money for a striker if they can find the right player.

The Gunners are understood to be exploring a number of options over a new centre-forward, with discussions continuing over the possible signing of Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon.

Wenger was recently forced to defend his transfer policy, insisting the club will not just spend for the sake of it.
