Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches has asked to be left out of the side's Bundesliga squad this weekend as he looks to resolve his future.

The 20-year old joined Bayern Munich from Benfica last summer for £27.5m after impressing for Portugal in their Euro 2016 win, however, he made just six league starts in his debut season under Carlo Ancelotti at the Allianz Arena.

The midfielder is now seeking a move away from the German champions, with Chelsea manager Antonio Conte reportedly showing interest.

According to reports, Conte personally enquired about Sanches last month as the Blues seek to add reinforcements to their Premier League winning squad.

"Sanches is not here. He asked the coach as he has a few offers and the coach allowed it," Bayern Munich's director of sport Hasan Salihamidzic told Sky Germany.

"But I can't confirm any deal."

Sanches missed Bayern's opening 3-1 win at home to Bayer Leverkusen when the Bundesliga season kicked off last weekend and Ancelotti has confirmed he'd be happy to let the Portuguese international leave should the right offer come in.
