Everton are interested in signing forward Cenk Tosun from Turkish club Besiktas.

Reports have linked the 26-year-old with a £25m switch to Goodison Park but Sky Sports News understands that a deal has yet to be formally agreed.

Besiktas' media spokesperson Metin Albayrak said "there is no offer for Tosun" after the club's cup game on Thursday, in which the striker scored before appearing to wave goodbye to fans after the full-time whistle.

Tosun has scored 13 goals for Besiktas this season and helped the side qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League where they were drawn to play Bayern Munich.
