David Willey will return to the England one-day international squad for the Royal London series with Pakistan after Wednesday's opening game.
The Yorkshire all-rounder hurt his left hand trying to take a return catch off Durham opener Mark Stoneman during the NatWest T20 Blast semi-final against Durham.
The 26-year-old underwent a scan on Sunday and another on Monday, after which he tweeted: "Good news! No serious damage so I will be back as soon as the swelling goes."
Willey had been withdrawn from England's ODI squad as precaution with Nottinghamshire seamer Jake Ball replacing him in the squad.
But it has been confirmed that Willey will rejoin the squad on Thursday after the opening match at the Ageas Bowl on Wednesday.
