Check out this video of the most memorable moments from previous World Darts Championships!
The latest set of Ally Pally festivities will be live on our dedicated channel, Sky Sports Darts, between December 14 and New Year's Day and you can expect more moments ranging from the sublime to the ridiculous!
The video at the top of this page certainly includes some moments of darts folklore - do you remember when Adrian Lewis, during a mean-spirited match against Peter Manley, struck a 180 without looking at the board?
That's better treatment than Colin Lloyd, a former world champion, gave the dartboard six years ago. After a particularly poor shot, he gave the board a whack but came off second best.
We've also revisited 'Draughtgate' - the farcical match between Lewis and James Wade where a breeze continually blew their darts off target. Annoying at the time, hilarious in retrospect.
There's also a very special memory of John Part having a moan about the "disrespectful" lack of his image on a wall.
