Dutch talent Jeffrey de Graaf secured his Tour Card on the PDC circuit alongside Brian Woods, Tony Newell and Ray Campbell on day three of Qualifying School in Wigan.

The 25-year old will now be looking to emulate the success of compatriots Benito van de Pas and Jeffrey de Zwaan - former Qualifying School graduates - as he joins the elite 128 PDC Tour Card holders.

De Graaf, who was seeded third going in to the recent Lakeside Championship, admitted it was a lot tougher than expected to secure his place on the PDC ProTour.

"It is such a relief as there was a lot of pressure on me to get a Tour Card in the first place," he said.

"I thought I would make it easier than I did. After two days I was playing well but it wasn't working out for me, and to have just one point - I was really disappointed in myself.

"I played well, so I am very happy with this but it was certainly harder than I thought."

De Graaf now has his sights firmly set on taking on some of the best players on the oche, including current world champion Gary Anderson.

"I want to face them all - I want to test my own skills against the best," he said, when quizzed about meeting the world's top players week-in, week-out on the PDC circuit.

"A couple of years ago I played Gary Anderson at an exhibition, so I am looking forward to meeting him again.

"My dream is to get to Alexandra Palace - it's the World Championship and I've always wanted to play in it. That's the main goal for this year, but I hope I can do a lot more, grow a lot, play a lot of events and qualify for everything."

It was also successful day for Newell and Woods as they both regained their Tour Cards at the first time of asking after finishing 2015 outside of the world's top 64.

Northern Ireland's Ray Campbell was the final Tour Card winner of the day.

The PDC 2016 Qualifying School concludes on Saturday, with the final four Tour Cards up for grabs alongside ranking points for players.

In addition to the four automatic Tour Cards, additional Tour Cards will be on offer from the Qualifying School Order of Merit.
