Gary Anderson and Ian White each won titles in a busy weekend of darts action at the latest two Players Championship events staged in Barnsley.
While reigning world champion Anderson beat Terry Jenkins in a close run final on Saturday, White emerged victorious 24 hours later with a win over Benito van de Pas.
Anderson, the world No 2 Scot, was pushed all the way by Jenkins who lost 6-5 but enjoyed his best tournament of the year.
The Welshman made more maximums than Anderson in the final - five to four - but fell short at the last hurdle.
In his seven best-of-11 leg matches, Anderson posted a brace of whitewashes while also being taken to a decider twice.
On Sunday, White collected his third ProTour triumph of 2016, with both previous successes also coming at the Barnsley Metrodome.
This time the Stoke ace denied the rising Dutchman 6-4 in the title decider.
And it was a big weekend for James Wilson who reached the semi-finals on both days, before losing to the eventual runners-up. He had never previously reached the last four of a PDC event.
