Hawaii 501 is back and gazing into the crystal ball to deliver his predictions for Week Nine as Premier League Darts hits Cardiff.
Judgment Night arrived a week early for Jelle Klaasen and Kim Huybrechts. Both players were eliminated in Manchester last week after failing to secure a point that would have kept their hopes alive.
It means the Dutchman and the Belgian will not play beyond this week, but the other eight players begin the run-in and bid to seal a place at the O2 on Finals Night.
So with 10 of the best going head-to-head in five more Premier League matches, Wayne Mardle, with assistance from 10-week old chocolate labrador puppy Sherlock, casts his Week Nine verdict.
We know Phil can do it, that has not been the question. The question more recently is how often can he do it.
So far in the Premier League has averaged over 100 twice and he has won both of those games and he has beaten quality players.
The thing with Phil is that he keeps talking about retirement, he keeps saying 'This is it' and if he keeps saying things like that he is going to talk himself out of enjoying it. I don't think that he is enjoying it so far at all and I don't think he has got his head around the fact that this is his final year of competing.
When you are as competitive as Phil is, it's all about competition and trying week-in, week-out. He keeps selling himself short, but he cares and he needs to get the hunger and passion back.
I think he will beat Klaasen who is still injured, but played well at the weekend. But if you are not 100 per cent, can you compete against Phil Taylor? I very much doubt it.
What a big game this is! This will be a cracker and I am finding it really hard to split them.
I have stuck my neck out and said Adrian Lewis will make the play-offs but I am liking the way he is throwing again.
Last week he didn't play well against Jelle, it was just one of those games, but overall he has been playing better and even if he is not playing at 100 per cent, he is looking relaxed again.
Gary Anderson is the more likely winner, he is odds-on to do so but if Adrian comes out throwing well and feeling confident then he will have a chance. If he doesn't find his range and rhythm in the first two or three legs it could be a tough night.
But I expect him to play well and I think it will be a draw.
James is not playing particularly well and I said a couple of weeks ago that I don't think he is holding [his darts] right.
His darts are going in a bit flat so when they go in above the 60 he is not leaving himself much room and a couple of weeks ago he was missing double 10 more and that tells me that he is not particularly happy with the way he is playing.
He has got Barney - and we have no idea how he is going to play. He plays brilliant against Van Gerwen, brilliant against Anderson but does it mean he will play well against James Wade? It doesn't.
I am going to go for a Barney win purely because I don't think Wade is firing on all cylinders right now.
I think Dave Chisnall is the key to who makes the play-offs. He will take points off players and you don't want it to be you if you are Peter Wright, Adrian Lewis, James Wade etc.
He won't make the play-offs as he is not playing well enough but he can still beat anyone on their day. I think Van Gerwen beats him but don't expect Chizzy for the next five or six weeks to just keep getting turned over.
He is one of those players who will somehow from somewhere pull out a big win, I just don't think it will be against Michael.
