Paul Lim nearly hits a nine-darter on day 9 of the World Darts Championships

Paul Lim fell one short of a stunning nine-darter, 28 years after hitting the first-ever perfect leg at the World Darts Championship.

Lim nearly stole the show against Gary Anderson on Friday with eight perfect arrows, only to miss double 12, in an eventual 4-1 defeat.

In 1990 Lim, now 63-years-old, hit a nine-darter at the same competition but could not repeat history.
