The new season of darts' Premier League got off to an amazing start on Thursday night as Michael Van Gerwen completed a stunning 7-0 whitewash of the legendary Phil Taylor.
The newly-crowned world champion cemented his position as the best around with Taylor woefully out of sorts.
But Taylor's performance did little to take away from the Dutchman's effort as he left the Echo Arena crowd in a state of shock.
