Rob Gronkowski left the game early and Tom Brady was limited throughout New England's 22-17 victory over the New York Jets.
Gronkowski was listed as questionable before the game started, and was taken off with a back injury towards the end of the first quarter. He didn't reappear, and was ruled out in the third quarter.
The tight end, who has three touchdowns in six starts for the Patriots this season, suffered a punctured lung in New England's 31-24 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in week 10.
Gronkowski's status is unclear, but at 9-2 the Patriots may choose to rest him in future weeks to make sure he is fully healthy for their post-season run.
Brady played the whole game, despite also being list as questionable in the build up. The quarterback missed two training sessions during the week with a right knee injury, and was struggling to move comfortably throughout the game against their AFC East rivals.
The injury is thought to also have been sustained against the Seahawks.
This weekend's victory gave Brady the 200th win of his career, tying for the most in NFL history with former Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning.
