The New Year's Day meeting at Exeter is under threat from waterlogging.

A precautionary inspection has been called for 8am on Thursday, with the latest going report reading as heavy, waterlogged in places.

The Devon track has seen 27 millimetres of rain since 8am, on top of six millimetres overnight.

In total there has been 97 millimetres of rainfall in the last 10 days.

The forecast for Wednesday night is more showers, some heavy.
