A round-up of the rest of Saturday's action at Glorious Goodwood, including an impressive success for Dartmouth.
Dartmouth gave the Queen a winner after overcoming a rough passage to land the Educate A Child Stakes.
The 9/4 favourite got the better of a barging match late on in the hands of French ace Olivier Peslier to claim the mile-and-a-half handicap and hand winning trainer Sir Michael Stoute his sixth success in the race.
Racing in midfield for much of the journey, the son of Dubawi looked as though his chances of victory had been compromised with a wall of horses in front of him approaching the final two furlongs.
Forcing a gap between runners, Peslier steered the recent Ascot winner into the clear before powering to a two-length victory from the staying-on Antiquarium.
Stoute said: "This fellow is really progressive and I am delighted with his win today.
"He was drawn out wide at (Royal) Ascot and had to stay there, but his last two victories have been very smooth. I am really happy with him.
"What I would like first of all is to keep him in training as a four-year-old and then play it backwards from there.
"It is impossible to tell (if he will be a Pattern horse) as there is such a gap to bridge, but he has got a good mind and is sound, touch wood."
He added: "I actually asked Hughesie (Richard Hughes) to ride him but he had been booked for the Meehan horse (Senrima)."
The stewards took a dim view of the Peslier manoeuvre, handing the French ace a seven-day ban for careless riding.
Folkswood (9/2) defied his uneasy position in the market to get off the mark in good style in the Qatar EBF Stallions Maiden Stakes.
The once-raced Charlie Appleby-trained colt was not too long in joining early leader Bernie's Boy at the head of affairs and the outcome was never in much doubt, assuming they had not gone too quick in front, with William Buick's mount asserting from a furlong out.
Bernie's Boy stuck to his guns for second, a length and a half in arrears, but the writing was on the wall for backers of Hughes and joint-favourite Hairdryer with a quarter-mile to run.
Enlace gave Mark Johnston yet another Glorious Goodwood winner when landing the Qatar Stakes under a strong Silvestre De Sousa drive at odds of 9/2, while Goodwood specialist Balmoral Castle (6/1) claimed his fourth course victory when grinding it out in the Qatar Apprentice Stakes for Jonathan Portman and Ryan Clark.
Winning jockey Clark said: "I'm based with Brian Meehan, but go to Mr Portman's on a weekly basis to ride out and it's paid off. I've ridden winners at Goodwood before, but never at this meeting, and this one was important because I need just one more win to ride out my claim.
"It makes a difference to ride a winner at a high-profile meeting and hopefully I will get a few more rides off the back of it - I've got two at Chepstow tomorrow."
