Charlie Appleby reports Wuheida to be on course to make her long-awaited seasonal return later this month in the Tattersalls Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket.

Having missed the opening exchanges of the season after sustaining a stress fracture to her right hind leg, the unbeaten daughter of Dubawi is being readied for a tilt at the Group One contest on July 14.

The three-year-old was last seen in action winning the Prix Marcel Boussac at Chantilly back in October, having previously made a winning debut at Newmarket in August.

Appleby said: "She has done everything that we have asked of her and the Falmouth Stakes is still there as her target.

"She came up to the July Course on Thursday for a walk around the paddock. I just wanted to bring her up to get a feel of it all again.

"She did a nice piece of work the other day and she pleased us with what she did this morning (Saturday) and we are confident she will come forward for that.

"With her it's a case of taking it day by day, but I could not be happier with her at the moment.
