Repeat of American effort needed

Connections expect the track at Sha Tin to play to Paco Boy's strengths in the valuable Hong Kong Mile on Sunday. Richard Hannon's charge is having his final race before heading to stud and went through his paces under regular work rider Elvis Singh on Tuesday morning. He was last in action when a fast-finishing fourth behind Goldikova in the Breeders' Cup Mile. Travelling head lad Tony Gorman said: "He is really well, in super form. I'm confident if he runs the race he did in America he will take some beating. "This track should be better for him than Churchill Downs. He has one hell of a turn of foot as he showed in America but couldn't make up the ground in the short straight there."
