Filly in good form

Michael Bell is hoping that lady luck favours Margot Did in Thursday's Irish Stallion Farms EBF Sprint Conditions Stakes at York. The filly was successful on her first two career starts early last season and was then placed on her next four starts, three of which were in Pattern company. She was again narrowly beaten into third on her first start of the season at Ascot and Bell feels she will strip fitter for that when she lines up on the Knavesmire. "Margot Did really does need a change of fortune and hopefully she will have her day here," the trainer told his website www.michaelbellracing.com. "She ran well last time where she was beaten in third by two horses that had already had a run. "She looked to get a bit tired in the final furlong but we are hoping that this run will have put her spot on for this."
