Repeat US bid for Manton star

Breeders' Cup Turf hero Dangerous Midge will have an autumn campaign with Brian Meehan aiming his stable star at the race again. Frankie Dettori steered the five-year-old to success at Churchill Downs last November and all roads lead to a repeat bid. Dangerous Midge is currently having a break after a disappointing run in the Dubai Sheema Classic at Meydan in March. "He's having a holiday until midsummer then we'll aim him towards the autumn and back-end for the Breeders' Cup again," said trainer Brian Meehan. "He may go for something like the Juddmonte International at York as a starter, then America, then hopefully on to Japan. "He's a tough horse to give a break to as he's full of beans, but we've managed to let him down a bit and he's just enjoying that."
