Robert Eddery is keen to step his promising filly Heyward Girl up in class after her ready victory at Kempton this week.
The chestnut was unfortunate to bump into a very good one on her debut at Windsor, when beaten half a length by Best Terms, who is still unbeaten in four starts and has won the Queen Mary Stakes and the Lowther.
Heyward Girl went off at odds-on when returning in a Polytrack maiden on Wednesday night and scored with plenty in hand.
"She was beaten by Richard Hannon's best filly at Windsor and I do think she's good," said Eddery, the fledgling Newmarket trainer.
"She is going to run in a novice race at Kempton on October 5, and then hopefully in a Listed race in Rome."
