Facile handicap winner to tackle stiffer opposition

The Godolphin owned unbeaten Farhh is set for a step up in grade after impressively maintaining his unbeaten record in the Thirsk Hunt Cup on Saturday. Trained by Saeed bin Suroor, the four-year-old Pivotal colt barely came off the bridle despite carrying top weight when romping to a six-length victory. He was following up two previous wins at Newmarket but he's only made the track once in each of the last two seasons, so he will not be asked to do anything for the foreseeable future. "He's fine but he's very lightly raced and has had some issues. He needs plenty of time between his races," said Godolphin's racing manager Simon Crisford. "He's OK today and we'll tiptoe along and see where we go with him. "Obviously we'll be looking for some better quality races for him but I'd imagine he'll need that sort of ground (good to soft) to be seen at his best. I don't think he'll handle fast ground," he told At The Races.
