Red Duke will have his next start in the German 2000 Guineas on Monday.
John Quinn's colt won the Superlative Stakes as a juvenile before finishing fifth in the UAE Derby earlier this year and was then beaten less than 10 lengths in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket.
The North Yorkshire handler told www.johnquinnracing.co.uk: "He is very well in himself and as the ground in Germany has been drying out significantly we have decided to let him take his chance.
"His work at home is pleasing and his weight is very good so I am hopeful that we will finally get to see him show his true form as he should encounter ideal conditions for the first time in a while."
