Cherry Hinton third Jadanna is set to take on the boys in the bet365 Molecomb Stakes at Glorious Goodwood after her fine run at Newmarket.
Successful in two of her four starts, Jadanna ran with credit to finish fifth in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot before trainer James Given opted to step up to six furlongs in the Cherry Hinton.
The Mujadil filly was edged into third in the closing stages that day and Given has decided to drop back to five furlongs as she seeks Group Three compensation on July 31.
Very Speedy
He said: "We are going to go for the Molecomb with her now and we have put her in the Lowther at York if we decide to go down that route.
"She looked very speedy at Newmarket last week and it may be that we stick to five furlongs, but we have the option of the Lowther as there are three weeks between that and the Molecomb this year.
"It's not ideal to be taking on the colts but you don't really have any choice over five furlongs.
"If you have a speedy two-year-old filly, you are not particularly well served by the programme.
"There is no juvenile Group One over five furlongs as the expectation is you either go for the Nunthorpe or the Prix de l'Abbaye."
