Lady Cecil plans to be firmly active at the sales and would "love to win a Group One" next season after confirming she is to continue to train from the historic Warren Place stables in Newmarket.
Another big-race win for Lady Cecil came at York last month, with the Henry Ponsonby-owned Tiger Cliff winning the Betfred Ebor. Ponsonby said: "It's very good news. I'm delighted for the team at Warren Place. "It was a great day when Tiger Cliff won the Ebor for us all and it's fingers crossed for the Cesarewitch." British Horseracing Authority spokesman Robin Mounsey said: "We have been approached by Lady Cecil regarding her intention to train next year, following the expiry of her temporary licence on January 31, 2014. "Lady Cecil is currently in the process of booking on to the relevant trainers' modules required for a full Flat trainers' licence at the British Racing School." Coral make Lady Cecil 12-1 to train a British Classic winner in 2014 and 4-1 to send out a domestic Group One winner next year. Spokesman David Stevens said: "The Cecil name has been popular with punters for many years, so the news Lady Jane is to continue training from Warren Place will be welcomed by racing fans everywhere."
